Lucy has been on her own out in the pasture with nothing but time to wait and hope...

She has some friends but not of her kind.

The shot above and below were taken on 8-2-13 and she looks to have some color and interest in her being.

On 8-5-13 while visiting her, at one point I saw her apparently latching onto some of the acanthophora algae

but the algae also latched onto her! It was a small seahorse!

She has a young male now in her life!

No telling how long he has been out there as he can easily avoid detection.

Although small, he exhibits the same swell of chest and skin texture I have seen in the adult males when

in the presence of their mates.

It seems some bonding is taking place here.
