Above (from top down) are Little Lucy, Little Ricky, Lucy and then Ricky.

Above is a shot of Little Lucy the last day I saw her. After some winter waves with strong currents came

through for a couple days and rearranged the sand in the pasture she was no longer present.

Ricky and Lucy together riding out the winter "storms" in the pasture.

Little Ricky above in a sand storm. He hung around for a week or so and then also disappeared.

Ricky and Lucy stayed close by each other.

With most of winter waves behind, it looked like Ricky and Lucy would ride it out into spring.

But then came disaster!

In the pic above, you can see that Ricky has been wounded. With internal parts blossoming outside of his

pouch I suspect he may have been stepped on. He was not wounded on the other side as one would expect

from a fish attack. This photo was taken the last day I saw Ricky and it has been weeks since the photo and

he has not been seen by me or any of the others who check the pasture. It seems Lucy now is the last remaining

seahorse out there.
