Whale Watch/ Snorkel trip to Olowalu on Hula Girl 3-7-13

I noticed there was a problem with the left front flipper on this moderate sized female:

She has fishing line wrapped multiple times up at the base of her flipper. I have heard this can lead to loss of the flipper.

She needs help.

I followed her to the surface to try to get some better shots of the line.

Ironically I noticed a smaller turtle that may well have lost its right front flipper to a similar line entanglement.
