yellow mantis shrimp in the pasture (above and below)

I hope I am wrong but this may be the last entry of seahorses until the late summer or fall of next year.

Lucy and Junior:

The photo above of Lucy was taken on November 6th, 2013 and it was the last I saw of her. We had some big surf come in coupled with rain runoff and when it all cleared, she was no where to be found.

Here is a shot of the "pasture" taken on the 9th:

After the surf let up, Junior was still haning in there. The two shots below were taken on the 16th and the final one, below them, was taken on the 18th of November.

The last day I saw Junior, he was moving about on the reef which is not that typical for a male. I can't help but think he was looking for Lucy and now that I have been unable to find him even though the conditions were decent and I spent a few hours on three different days looking for him it may well be that he has taken off in serch of her. I can only hope he finds her and that they can find safety and be well, somewhere.
