I encountered an old friend, "Friendly", feeding on the reef today.

There were a number of snorklers watching her and shortly after I arrived, she surfaced.



After taking a number of breaths, she dove down and then out, away from the reef.

After a few minutes I decided to swim out and see if perchance she decided to stop at
the scratching post where I had found her about a year previously. I am sorry I didn't
follow her immediately for when I got out there far enough to see, I saw her quickly
leave the scratching post as if in a hurry. When I got close enough to see what was going
on, I realixed that it was already occupied by a hawksbill turtle and I had missed the
encounter.
