I had a large "fat" presumably female eagle ray and escort swim by me today and I followed

them for over a half hour.

In the pics above you can see her belly bulging down and the male (right) had to hit the brakes

in the shot directly above.

Her back is also full and domed up in the same area. (above image)

We eventually went out past reef's edge and a small third ray showed up. It seemed to spend

as much time around me as it did the pair. It also appeared that the small male in the pair

would position itself between me and the female.

I realized the new little one was offering me some interesting shots so I focused in it for a while.
