I can't stop taking pics of the amberjack and it doesn't help in the fact that every time I see it,

it has grown in size as well as a willingness to approach and make contact.

In the sequence above, it was circling Cheryl.

Today, it spent a good amount of time swimming around me and approaching my camera

as well as face mask. I felt it brush against me numerous times and saw it going after my fins.

Footnote:

I swam out to see the amber jack and sergeants a couple days ago and the buoy was

completely barren of any fish. No idea what happened or where these young fish might be

but they are gone. :(

The next day I checked again and the sergeants and amber jack were gone still but there

were a few tiny sergeants now hiding in the protection of the buoy so life goes on.

These fish are less than a half inch in length.
