More shots at Turtle Canyon (5-22-08)

(above: Not exactly as it was designed but making due....)

There are so many turtles here and it seems they like to surface in groups. The surface was very still this day and I enjoyed watching these guys poping up all over the place and it was quiet enough to hear them take a breath even when they were at a distance and behind you. I decided to see if I could get some shots of the ones that were coming up very close by even with the fisheye lens. The surface was smooth enough that the view from topsides was real good and you could see the turtles from the sandy bottom all the way up.

In the sequence below, this guy grabed a breath not far off my bow and then proceeded to swim right at me and it didn't look like he was deep enough to keep from hitting the boat but he cleared it with no problem.
