My brother and his two sons in law (technically only one qualifies at the moment with the other a beau?!?) and I went snorkeling off Airport Beach. We checked Little T's lair and he was so far under the ledge that it looked he would be there for a good while. I swam up to the middle hole to see if a White Tip was in residence and sure enough:

When the rest showed up at the hole, they all dove down and took a peek. I loaned my brother my flashlight so he could illuminate the shark and get a photo. I followed him down to see if I could get a shot of him taking a photo of the shark:

If you look under his elbow, you can see that the shark decided to exit cave right!
I realized that the cave was unoccupied and backed up to see where the shark had gone. The image above captured its exit before I had realized that it had vacated the cave. In seconds, I saw the shark coming out and it had to make a turn to avoid me:

The others took pursuit while I checked my camera settings. I didn't want to miss this opportunity due to an aperture and shutter that was set for the darker cave. I then joined in the swim and found the shark coming back my way:

About the time I took this shot above or moments later, my brother got the shot of me (camera and forearms) and the shark, just below:

The shark was starting to veer away from me above and I took the pic below moments later:

I tried to swim with it without spooking it into flight.

The shark was able to pull ahead and I ended up following it to the large cave where another of its kind has been seen on occasion as well as turtles.
